Cognizant has been named to TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026 list for the fourth consecutive year, with the ranking recognising companies for employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency.
Cognizant announced the recognition on September 9, 2026, noting that the annual list identifies 1,000 companies that demonstrate strong performance across the three evaluation areas.
TIME and Statista assessed companies based on employee satisfaction, financial growth and sustainability transparency. The employee satisfaction component drew on survey responses from more than 200,000 employees worldwide, including direct recommendations and peer evaluations.
Revenue growth was evaluated based on companies that recorded growth over the previous three years and had revenues exceeding US$100 million. The sustainability component considered factors related to environmental impact, social responsibility and governance practices.
Cognizant said the recognition reflects the company’s global workforce and workplace culture. Kathy Diaz, Chief People Officer at Cognizant, said the company’s focus on technology and AI also creates opportunities for employees to develop expertise and build careers around emerging technologies.
The latest recognition adds to Cognizant’s recent workplace and corporate responsibility distinctions. The company said it has been certified as a Great Place to Work in 31 countries and has also been included in Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies list.
The TIME ranking comes as Cognizant continues to position itself as an AI-focused technology services company. Its current portfolio includes artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, application modernisation, digital strategy, cybersecurity, software engineering and sustainability services.
The World’s Best Companies ranking is published by TIME in partnership with Statista, which conducts research and analysis for international company rankings and business listings.
Cognizant said the latest recognition adds to the company’s broader record of workplace, sustainability and corporate responsibility acknowledgements.
