Intrusion Inc. (NASDAQ: INTZ), a leading provider of cyberattack prevention solutions, has announced the successful acquisition of VigilAigent, a managed security service provider (MSSP), from Tego Cyber Inc. Along with a varied portfolio of multi-year client contracts, an established
reseller network of over 80 partners, and an installed base of almost 1,000
customers, this calculated step enhances Intrusion’s growth trajectory by adding
almost $3.5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
The combination of Intrusion’s TraceCop database with VigilAigent’s exclusive
Agentic AI engine, “The Oracle,” is a major feature of the acquisition. While TraceCop offers intelligence on over 8.5 billion IP addresses, Oracle
analyzes and learns from over one billion daily occurrences. When combined, these technologies greatly improve visibility, strengthen threat
detection capabilities, and provide more useful cybersecurity insights.
It is anticipated that the merged platform will produce a strong commercial offering, opening new revenue streams and facilitating cross-selling opportunities throughout the partner and customer ecosystems of both businesses. With this combination, Intrusion is better equipped to handle the quickly changing cybersecurity environment brought on by increasingly complex AI-powered threats.
Key VigilAigent executives, such as Chief Executive Aigent Bobby Mikkelsen and Chief Revenue Officer Mark Porter, have joined Intrusion’s senior leadership team as part of the shift.
Tony Scott, CEO of Intrusion, stressed that the acquisition is in line with the company’s long-term plan to expand operations, improve client services, and promote sustainable growth in a threat environment that is becoming more complicated.
