Apple has unveiled a major expansion of its artificial intelligence strategy, introducing the next generation of Apple Intelligence, a redesigned Siri AI assistant, and a range of AI-powered features across its software ecosystem at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026.
Apple used its annual WWDC event to showcase a broad set of artificial intelligence enhancements aimed at making its devices more personalized, context-aware and capable of handling complex user requests. The announcement marks one of the company’s most significant AI updates to date.
At the center of the update is Siri AI, a redesigned version of Apple’s virtual assistant that incorporates advanced conversational capabilities and deeper integration across Apple devices. The new assistant is designed to understand on-screen content, interpret personal context and perform actions across apps more naturally than previous versions. Apple said Siri AI will be available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro devices.
