The programme aims to provide students with exposure to real-world projects while helping them develop technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills relevant to the rapidly evolving digital economy. NeGD stated that the initiative will also enable the organization to engage with fresh talent and innovative perspectives while supporting India’s e-Governance mission.

Among the available roles, software testing and quality analysis account for the highest number of openings with 11 positions, followed by software development and frontend development roles with six positions each. Opportunities are also available in database programming, business analysis, data engineering and analytics, AI/ML, IoT, and DevOps.

The internship will run for six months, from July to December 2026, and will be conducted in offline mode, requiring selected candidates to work from NeGD offices as per organizational working hours.
