Pervaziv AI has expanded its Cortex enterprise AI platform by adding Search Router and Skill Router to its existing Cortex Router, creating a three-layer architecture designed to coordinate AI models, current information and specialised engineering practices.
The company announced the development on September 1, saying the expanded system is intended to reduce the need for users to manually choose models, search services or specialised instructions for individual tasks.
Cortex Router serves as the platform’s existing entry point for directing requests to specialised AI capabilities. The newly introduced Search Router is designed to bring current public information into workflows, while Skill Router connects tasks with specific engineering practices.
The Search Router supports multiple search providers, including Google, Exa, Brave Search and DDGS. According to Pervaziv AI, this allows users to access updated technical material such as software documentation, release notes, compatibility information, vulnerability disclosures and vendor advisories without treating research as a separate activity.
Skill Router, meanwhile, covers five initial areas: testing, security analysis, security validation, implementation and verification. The company said the system can apply practices including test-driven development, threat modelling, security reviews, vulnerability analysis, secure remediation, refactoring, performance optimisation, code review and regression analysis.
Pervaziv AI founder and CEO Anoop Jaishankar said the objective is to prevent users from having to act as coordinators between different models, search engines, tools and engineering resources.
The latest additions build on Cortex’s AI Model Ensemble and Cortex Router. The company has also previously introduced Cortex Planner for structured planning and Cortex Connect for continuity across browser, mobile and Visual Studio Code environments.
Pervaziv AI said the three routing layers are intended to work together as a request develops. A software issue, for example, could be routed to specialised intelligence, supported by current documentation and followed by testing, security review or verification.
The company said the broader architecture is aimed at keeping the user’s objective at the centre while allowing the underlying AI models, information sources and engineering practices to change independently.
