Dell Technologies has announced a new range of Windows computers designed to run artificial intelligence models and autonomous AI agents locally, introducing a creator-focused laptop, a compact desktop and a high-performance workstation for developers and enterprise teams.
Announced on October 7, 2026, the portfolio was developed alongside NVIDIA and Microsoft, with an emphasis on running demanding AI workloads on devices rather than relying entirely on cloud infrastructure. <Cite refs={[“turn136583view0”]}/>
The new XPS 16 Creator Edition is the first XPS laptop to feature NVIDIA’s RTX Spark superchip. It combines a Grace CPU, Blackwell RTX graphics and up to 128GB of unified memory. Dell says the configuration is intended for tasks such as local AI model development, video editing, 3D work and gaming.
The laptop features a 3.2K tandem OLED display with a refresh rate ranging from 20Hz to 120Hz. It also includes three USB4 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1b and an SDXC card reader to support professional workflows.
Dell is also preparing a Creator Edition Desktop built around the same RTX Spark platform, with up to 128GB of unified memory. The system offers up to one petaflop of FP4 computing performance and is designed to handle AI models with as many as 200 billion parameters, alongside extended creative and development workloads.
For enterprise developers, Dell has introduced the Dell Pro Precision with GB300, a deskside AI workstation that will run Windows. Powered by NVIDIA’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip, it offers up to 20 petaflops of FP4 compute and 748GB of coherent memory. Dell says it can run models with up to one trillion parameters locally.
The workstation will support the NVIDIA CUDA ecosystem and Linux AI frameworks through Windows Subsystem for Linux, allowing developers to work within existing Windows environments.
Dell has also renamed its GB10- and GB300-based Dell Pro Max systems as Dell Pro Precision, bringing the products under a single workstation brand.
The XPS 16 Creator Edition was scheduled to open for pre-orders through Best Buy in the United States on October 7, with Dell.com availability to follow. The desktop and Windows-based GB300 workstation are listed as coming soon.
