Aarti Industries Limited has signed a manufacturing and supply agreement lasting more than 10 years with a global speciality chemicals company, with the contract carrying an estimated revenue potential of ₹1,500 crore. Announced on October 13, 2026, the agreement will involve a dedicated manufacturing facility in India to meet the customer’s growing domestic requirements. <Cite refs={[“turn221143search1”]}/>
Under the arrangement, Aarti Industries will establish, commission and operate the facility to manufacture a speciality chemical used in high-performance applications. Production will follow the customer’s proprietary process technology, while Aarti Industries will contribute its engineering, process scale-up and manufacturing capabilities.
The company expects capital expenditure for the project to remain below US$25 million. A structured financial arrangement has been planned to fund the investment. Commercial operations are targeted to begin in the 2028–29 financial year, subject to the necessary approvals. <Cite refs={[“turn221143search1”]}/>
The agreement establishes a new customer relationship for Aarti Industries and is designed to support the client’s expansion in India. Manufacturing the chemical locally is also expected to strengthen supply-chain resilience by creating a dedicated domestic production base.
For Aarti Industries, the contract adds a long-term manufacturing commitment to its speciality chemicals business and provides potential revenue visibility over the agreement period. The company said the arrangement could also create opportunities to expand the relationship as the customer’s requirements in India increase.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Suyog Kotecha said the agreement combines the customer’s proprietary technology with Aarti Industries’ capabilities in engineering, execution and plant operations. He also highlighted the role of the long-term arrangement in supporting growth while keeping the investment structure capital-efficient.
Established in 1984, Aarti Industries operates in speciality chemicals and serves customers across several end-use industries. According to the company, its operations include 16 manufacturing plants, four research and development centres and a portfolio of more than 100 products. Its work spans research, process development, engineering and commercial-scale manufacturing. <Cite refs={[“turn221143search1”]}/>
The new agreement adds another long-duration customer commitment to the company’s manufacturing portfolio, with the facility’s start-up dependent on regulatory and other applicable approvals.
