IndiGo Introduces ‘Cabs with IndiGo’ for Seamless Airport Connectivity

IndiGo has expanded its range of travel services with the launch of ‘Cabs with IndiGo’, a dedicated airport transfer platform designed to provide passengers with pre-booked transportation to and from airports across India.

The new offering aims to simplify the journey beyond air travel by integrating ground transportation into the airline’s broader travel ecosystem. Available across Indian cities served by the carrier, the service allows customers to arrange airport transfers in advance, reducing dependence on last-minute bookings and addressing common concerns around availability and pricing.

The airport transfer platform has also been linked with IndiGo BluChip, the airline’s loyalty programme. Under the arrangement, members can earn five IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent on bookings made through the service, enabling travellers to accumulate rewards while arranging ground transportation.

According to the company, the service includes features such as ride reservations starting at ₹49, confirmed bookings with assured pick-up, transparent pricing without surge charges, free cancellation up to the pick-up time, and a complimentary waiting period of up to 30 minutes. These features have been introduced to address challenges frequently faced by air travellers, including last-minute ride cancellations, fluctuating fares and uncertainty around airport transportation.

The service is being operated through a partnership with Mojoboxx, which powers the platform’s airport mobility network. IndiGo said the initiative forms part of its broader effort to provide travellers with services extending beyond flight bookings. Alongside air travel, the airline already offers hotel reservations and sightseeing experiences through its digital platforms.

The launch reflects a growing trend among airlines to broaden their role in the travel journey by offering integrated services that cover transportation, accommodation and other travel-related requirements. With airport transfers now included within its portfolio, IndiGo is seeking to create a more connected travel experience for passengers across its network.
