Kedaara Capital has announced a $200 million strategic investment in Tynor Orthotics, backing the Indian orthopaedic supports and rehabilitation brand as it plans to expand its presence in domestic and international markets.
The investment was announced on August 24, 2026, in a transaction that brings Kedaara into partnership with Tynor’s promoters, Dr. P.J. Singh and Mr. A.J. Singh, its professional management team and long-standing strategic partner Thuasne.
Founded in 1993, Tynor operates across orthopaedic supports, mobility aids, rehabilitation and sports performance products. The company has built a distribution network spanning more than 300,000 retail outlets and 8,000 hospitals across 60 countries, according to the announcement. Its products have reached more than 100 million lives.
Tynor operates three manufacturing facilities covering 6.5 lakh sq. ft. The company said these facilities use lean manufacturing processes to produce its range of healthcare products.
Kedaara plans to work with Tynor’s promoters and management on expanding the company’s reach in India and overseas markets, while continuing investment in manufacturing capabilities. The private equity firm said it sees scope to build on Tynor’s doctor relationships, distribution network, research and development capabilities and manufacturing base.
The investment also adds a new partner to Tynor’s existing strategic relationship with Thuasne, which has worked with the company since 2010. Thuasne specialises in orthopaedics and medical compression and has supported Tynor’s development and international expansion over the past 15 years.
For Tynor, the transaction comes as the company looks to broaden its international footprint while strengthening its position in India’s orthopaedic and rehabilitation products market. Kedaara said its operational expertise will be used to support the company’s next stage of expansion.
O3 Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.
Kedaara currently manages more than $6 billion through investments across sectors including healthcare and pharma, financial services, consumer businesses and technology services.
The transaction marks a significant private equity investment in India’s medical devices sector and gives Tynor additional financial and operational backing as it pursues growth across India and international markets.
