Mumbai, India: Larsen & Toubro’s L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) has secured a batch of major orders from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for offshore pipeline replacement and well head platform projects along India’s west coast.
The orders cover two key offshore developments, including the Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP-X) and the Well Head Platforms Project. Under PRP-X, LTEH Offshore will undertake engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of multiple subsea pipeline segments, along with associated modification works across ONGC’s offshore fields.
The Well Head Platforms Project involves the EPCIC of four well head platforms, further expanding L&T’s involvement in India’s offshore oil and gas infrastructure.
The combined orders fall within L&T’s Major order category, which the company defines as projects valued between ₹5,000 crore and ₹10,000 crore.
LTEH Offshore provides integrated EPCIC solutions for offshore oil and gas projects, supported by in-house engineering capabilities, fabrication facilities and a dedicated marine vessel fleet. The business has executed offshore projects across global markets, covering fixed platforms, subsea pipelines and structures, brownfield upgrades and decommissioning assignments.
Commenting on the order win, Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Senior Vice President and Head of L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore, said the projects reinforce LTEH Offshore’s position as a partner in India’s offshore energy infrastructure. He also highlighted the company’s EPCIC capabilities, project execution experience and focus on safety and operational excellence.
The latest orders strengthen L&T’s presence in India’s offshore energy sector and add to its portfolio of projects involving complex subsea and offshore infrastructure. The company said it looks forward to delivering the projects for ONGC while contributing to India’s energy requirements.
