New Delhi, India: Airtel Business and ITI Limited have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at helping Indian enterprises modernise operations, strengthen digital resilience and accelerate the adoption of new technologies. The collaboration brings together the companies’ capabilities across connectivity, cloud infrastructure, IoT, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The partnership is designed to help businesses address legacy technology challenges while improving operational efficiency and responding to changing digital requirements. The companies plan to offer an integrated portfolio covering enterprise connectivity, data centres, sovereign cloud services, IoT, AI-powered solutions, cybersecurity and low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite services.

ITI Limited Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Rai said the agreement would allow the two organisations to jointly identify and address customer requirements related to digital transformation, connectivity, hyperscale data centres, cybersecurity and IoT.

Sharat Sinha, CEO of Airtel Business, said enterprises need infrastructure that is resilient, sovereign and compliant with regulatory requirements as India moves into its next phase of digital growth. He said the partnership is intended to help businesses simplify complex technology environments and support digitisation at scale.

The agreement also brings Airtel’s cloud and digital capabilities into the collaboration. Airtel’s digital arm, Xtelify, works with telecommunications companies on AI, data and technology solutions, while Airtel Cloud provides enterprises in India with a sovereign cloud platform. Airtel also operates data-centre infrastructure and provides services to government institutions, departments and banks.

For ITI, the partnership adds to its role as a telecom and technology manufacturer with engineering and infrastructure capabilities. The two companies intend to use their complementary strengths, customer reach and technical capabilities to develop solutions for enterprises undertaking digital transformation.

The collaboration comes as businesses increasingly seek secure connectivity, cloud infrastructure and technology systems that can scale with their operations.
