Bengaluru, India: Mahindra Aerostructures has secured a contract from Airbus to manufacture fuselage skins for the A320 family of commercial aircraft, expanding its role in Airbus’ global supply chain.
The contract marks another development in Mahindra Aerostructures’ aerospace manufacturing business, with the company set to produce components used in the fuselage structures of Airbus A320 family aircraft.
The agreement adds to Mahindra Aerostructures’ existing relationship with Airbus and strengthens the Indian company’s participation in the manufacturing of structural aircraft components for a major global commercial aircraft programme.
