LG Unveils New RGB evo AI TVs With Enhanced Color and Gaming Features

LG Electronics has introduced its 2026 Micro RGB evo AI and Mini RGB evo AI television lineup, expanding its premium LCD portfolio with a focus on improved color accuracy, AI-powered image processing and advanced gaming capabilities.

LG Electronics has announced the global rollout of its 2026 Micro RGB evo AI and Mini RGB evo AI television series, aiming to strengthen its presence in the premium television segment through advancements in color reproduction and artificial intelligence-driven picture processing.

The new lineup centers on technologies designed to improve the purity and separation of red, green and blue color spectrums. According to the company, both television ranges have received TÜV Rheinland’s High Purity RGB Spectrum Display certification, validating their ability to reproduce colors with greater precision and clarity.

Leading the range is the Micro RGB evo AI, LG’s flagship LCD television. The model incorporates the company’s proprietary Micro RGB technology and has achieved Intertek’s Triple 100 Percent Color Coverage certification across the BT.2020, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces. The television is powered by LG’s Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, which draws on the company’s OLED image-processing expertise to enhance color, contrast and detail.

LG has also expanded the technology to a broader range of premium LCD models through the Mini RGB evo AI series. These televisions use Tandem LED technology and offer Double 100 Percent Color Coverage certification across DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB standards. The models are equipped with the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3, designed to optimize picture quality through AI-based analysis of content.

Gaming and entertainment features are a major focus of the new lineup. The televisions support refresh rates of up to 330Hz through LG’s Motion Booster 330 technology, while variable refresh rate (VRR) and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility aim to improve responsiveness during gameplay. Selected models also support 4K 120Hz HDR cloud gaming through GeForce NOW.

The televisions run on LG’s webOS 26 platform and include AI-powered personalization features such as AI Voice ID, AI Concierge and multi-AI integration with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. Security features are handled through LG Shield, a privacy-focused system that protects user data across the webOS ecosystem.

LG said the 2026 Micro RGB evo AI and Mini RGB evo AI televisions will be introduced in phases across global markets, with availability varying by region.
