According to a business filing, GHV Infra Projects Ltd. has won an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract of Rs 7,000 crore for a greenfield tire manufacturing facility in Cameroon.
The project entails building a lump sum turnkey (LSTK) tire manufacturing facility with an annual production capacity of 7.6 million tires. The plant will be situated in the Littoral Region of Cameroon near Bekoko, Douala.
The 630 million euro deal is expected to be finished within 36 months of the notice to proceed.
The most recent order expands the expanding EPC portfolio of GHV Infra Projects. APCO Infratech in Maharashtra awarded the company a road construction contract worth Rs 815 crore and an expressway connecting project worth Rs 1,250 crore earlier this year.
Additionally, Ductor Americas Inc. awarded the company an EPC contract for Rs 840 crore for a sustainable natural gas and fertilizer project in Ohio, USA.
With an emphasis on road construction, civil works, and EPC services, GHV Infra Projects works in India’s infrastructure sector.
