Mumbai, September 30, 2026: Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. has added three housing societies to its residential redevelopment portfolio in Mumbai, with the projects carrying a combined potential gross development value (GDV) of ₹1,500 crore.

The additions comprise two societies in Borivali and another society that has been added to an existing redevelopment project in Chembur, according to the company.

The move expands Mahindra Lifespaces’ redevelopment activity across established parts of Mumbai. The company said the additions form part of its broader residential business strategy and increase the size and diversity of its redevelopment portfolio.

Vimalendra Singh, Chief Business Officer – Residential at Mahindra Lifespace Developers, said the Mumbai redevelopment market provides opportunities to expand the company’s residential business in established locations. He said the three societies would add to its redevelopment portfolio across the city.

The latest projects are part of Mahindra Lifespaces’ residential development activities, which span Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru. The company has been involved in residential development in India since its establishment in 1994.

Mahindra Lifespaces said its overall development footprint covers 53.65 million square feet of saleable area across completed, ongoing and forthcoming residential projects in seven Indian cities. Its wider development and management portfolio also includes more than 5,000 acres across integrated developments and industrial clusters in four locations.

The company’s residential portfolio includes premium housing projects and value homes under the Mahindra Happinest brand, while its integrated development and industrial cluster businesses operate under the Mahindra World City and Origins by Mahindra brands.

With the latest additions, the company is increasing its exposure to Mumbai’s redevelopment segment, where the projects involve existing residential societies in Borivali and Chembur. The combined potential GDV of ₹1,500 crore gives the three projects a significant addition to Mahindra Lifespaces’ development pipeline.
