Siemens and Salesforce Expand AI Partnership for Industrial Sales

Siemens and Salesforce expand their AI partnership, combining Teamcenter and Agentforce to accelerate industrial sales and service workflows.

Siemens and Salesforce are expanding their partnership to combine industrial digital twins with autonomous artificial intelligence, with the companies targeting faster sales and service processes for manufacturers. The expanded collaboration links Siemens’ Teamcenter platform with Salesforce’s Agentforce AI technology.

The companies said the integration is intended to bring engineering information directly into sales and service workflows. This could allow service personnel to identify suitable spare parts for individual machines before visiting a site, while sales teams could determine which upgrades are technically compatible and can be manufactured.

The companies are also targeting shorter industrial processes. According to the announcement, tasks that previously required engineering input and could take weeks may be completed within hours through the connection between product information and customer data. The approach is aimed at supporting faster service, more accurate quotations and expanded aftermarket activity.

Siemens CEO Roland Busch said the partnership is intended to reduce the separation between engineering expertise and employees working directly with customers. Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff said the companies are combining their technology and industry expertise to change how enterprise work and customer service are handled.

Siemens is also using Agentforce internally for inbound sales development. The company receives more than 2,500 unqualified leads each month and has deployed two AI agents to handle the initial engagement and qualification process for its 18,000 sellers.

The first agent contacts incoming leads and uses customer relationship management data to personalise outreach. Interested prospects are then transferred to a second agent, which assesses their requirements before passing suitable opportunities to sales representatives.

According to Siemens, the system currently engages with all of these inbound leads across 132 countries. During the qualification process, information such as a prospect’s budget and timeline can be collected and added to the relevant sales record.

The expanded partnership reflects the companies’ focus on connecting engineering data, business workflows and AI agents. Siemens said the integration is intended to support industrial companies in moving toward AI-driven sales and service operations.
