Modutek Corporation will showcase its wet-processing equipment and SmartFAB AI platform at Semicon India 2026, scheduled for September 17–19 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. The company will exhibit at Booth H4014 as India’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem continues to expand.
The SmartFAB platform is designed to bring several areas of semiconductor wet-bay operations together through a single system. Modutek has divided the platform into four modules covering chemical delivery, emissions management, equipment maintenance and yield monitoring.
SmartCHEM is focused on monitoring and dosing within chemical delivery systems, while SmartSCRUB provides intelligence for emissions abatement. SmartMAINT is intended for predictive maintenance of process equipment, and SmartYIELD provides visibility into factors that can affect yield across the wet bay. According to Modutek, the modules are designed to provide real-time information across operations that can otherwise remain separated between different systems.
Alongside SmartFAB, the company will display its wafer and wet-processing equipment. The range being presented includes equipment for high-precision etching and cleaning, as well as automated wet-bench systems designed for advanced process nodes.
Modutek CEO Vineet Shrivastava said the company sees connected intelligence as an important part of semiconductor facilities being developed in India. He said SmartFAB brings chemical delivery, emissions monitoring and predictive maintenance into a common platform and will be demonstrated alongside the company’s wet-processing equipment.
President Douglas Wagner highlighted the timing of the exhibition as new fabs and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test facilities in India move closer to production. He said the company plans to demonstrate how its equipment and software can support connected subfab operations.
Modutek has manufactured wet-processing equipment at its San Jose, California facility for more than 45 years. Its portfolio includes wafer processing equipment, wet benches and chemical handling systems. The company will use Semicon India 2026 to present both its established equipment range and SmartFAB’s approach to monitoring and managing wet-bay operations.
