Mother Dairy Targets ₹24,000 Crore Revenue in FY27 Expansion

Mother Dairy Targets ₹24,000 Crore Revenue in FY27 Expansion

New Delhi: As it expands its reach outside its traditional stronghold of Delhi-NCR and penetrates new markets throughout India, Mother Dairy is aiming for a 20% rise in revenue for the 2026–2027 fiscal year, with a turnover of more than ₹24,000 crore.

The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) completely owns the corporation, which reported a turnover of ₹20,300 crore in FY26, a 17% increase over the previous fiscal year. Every day, the dairy giant distributes over 55 lakh liters of fresh milk, of which 35 lakh liters are in the Delhi-NCR area.

Meenesh Shah, the chairman of Mother Dairy, discussed the company’s expansion plan and stated that it is aggressively trying to increase its presence throughout the nation and dispel the notion that it is primarily focused on Delhi-NCR. The business now has operations in a number of states, including Bihar and Maharashtra, and is looking into ways to expand into other markets.

Mother Dairy has leased a facility in Hyderabad, is building a second processing plant in Bihar, and is constructing a new dairy processing factory in Maharashtra in order to facilitate expansion.

The company has seen significant sales momentum in the first two months of the current fiscal year, with the ice cream category doing especially well, according to Managing Director Jayateertha Chary. Mother Dairy’s revenue has doubled over the past five years, surpassing ₹20,000 crore for the first time.

Edible oils and horticultural items brought in around ₹5,000 crore in FY26, while the dairy industry contributed over ₹15,000 crore. With complete coverage in tier-II and metropolitan regions, the company currently covers over 95 cities.
