A major step in Tejas Networks’ worldwide development strategy has been taken with the signing of a deal to manufacture and deliver 5G massive MIMO radios with NEC Corporation.
Strengthening supply-chain diversification and creating a more robust global telecom ecosystem are the goals of the cooperation. According to Masayuki Kayahara, Corporate Senior Vice President of NEC’s Global Network Division, the partnership would help reduce risks for clients by establishing a worldwide and adaptable supply network.
According to Arnob Roy, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Tejas Networks, the partnership will combine both firms’ carrier-grade product development experience to expedite wireless innovation. He continued by saying that the companies intend to collaborate on the development of cutting-edge 5G and 5G-Advanced solutions that are suited to changing international telecom demands.
Tejas Networks’ Chief Strategy and Business Officer, Sanjay Malik, called the transaction a turning point in the company’s global expansion and stated that it intends to duplicate such achievements in both established and developing 4G and 5G markets.
Tejas Networks, a division of the Tata Group, serves clients in more than 75 countries by designing and producing wireline and wireless networking solutions, such as 32TR and 64TR massive MIMO radios that comply with 3GPP and O-RAN standards.
