JK Tyre & Industries has introduced four new off-the-road (OTR) tyre variants for construction, material-handling and mining equipment at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2026 in Greater Noida. The products are designed for applications including self-loading concrete mixers, backhoe loaders, telehandlers and mining tippers.
The new range comprises the 12.5/80-18 MPT 45 16PR TL, developed for self-loading concrete mixers (SLCMs) and backhoe loaders; the 16/70-20 MPT117 14PR TL for SLCMs and telehandlers; and the 18-19.5 MPT117 18PR TL for SLCM operations. The fourth product, the 12.00R20 JDO XD OTR 22PR 156/153F TT, is intended for mining tippers.
JK Tyre said the MPT 45 tread pattern is designed to provide traction and stability across mixed terrain. Its tread construction is also intended to support even wear and longer operating life.
The MPT117 pattern is aimed at construction and material-handling equipment, with its tread geometry designed to provide grip, durability and manoeuvrability. The company has introduced the 18-19.5 MPT117 specifically for self-loading concrete mixer applications.
For mining operations, the JDO XD has a heavy-duty construction and reinforced casing intended to withstand cuts, chips and abrasion. The tyre is designed for mining tippers, where load-carrying requirements and exposure to harsh operating conditions are significant factors.
According to JK Tyre, the products were developed with Indian operating conditions in mind, with emphasis on load-carrying capacity, durability and service life. The company said the range is intended to support machine performance and operational efficiency in demanding applications.

The launch expands JK Tyre’s OTR portfolio across construction, mining and specialised industrial applications, with the company continuing to develop products for these segments.
