With the launch of its new line of electric three-wheelers under the “WEGO” brand, Bajaj Auto has made a major contribution to India’s expanding EV mobility market. The portfolio’s passenger and cargo models are intended to meet last-mile, semi-urban, and urban delivery requirements.

The electric three-wheelers have an innovative battery management system, regenerative braking, and a two-speed automatic transmission. Three series make up the passenger lineup: the 50 Series, which has a range of up to 272 km for intra-city operations; the 70 Series, which has a range of up to 259 km for shared commuting; and the 90 Series, which has a range of up to 296 km for longer trips.

The C9009 and C9012 cargo variants are designed for last-mile delivery applications and have a range of up to 207 km. Hill hold, climb mode, Bluetooth connectivity, and a digital LCD display are among the range’s key features.

With a service network of more than 1,500 touchpoints and a 5-year warranty, the WEGO range seeks to improve Bajaj Auto’s standing in the market for electric three-wheelers.
