A significant aircraft production deal between India and the EU aims to improve industrial collaboration and safety requirements. Aligning certification, production, and regulatory procedures with international standards is the main goal of the agreement between the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Major aerospace investments, like as the planned production of Airbus H125/AS350 helicopters in Karnataka, are anticipated to be made easier by the deal. This is an important step in bolstering India’s aviation manufacturing sector.

The program is in line with the government’s “Make in India” policy, which aims to increase domestic output while drawing in international capital. Industry insiders predict that the action will boost India’s competitiveness in international aerospace supply chains, create jobs, and strengthen technological capabilities.

The industry is expected to grow steadily as a result of the growing cooperation between Indian and European aviation organizations, establishing India as a new center for aircraft production and maintenance.
