Delhi man shoots himself in the chest, dies as friend records video for reel

In a chilling incident, a video of a Delhi man accidentally shooting himself in the chest has gone viral. The moment was filmed by his friend.

The incident was reported from Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar.

Police have now identified the man in the video as Pawan, 28.

According to the police, the friend who captured the video was unaware of what Pawan’s intentions were.

In the video, which has now been posted on social media, Pawan is seen loading the pistol with a magazine before placing it to his chest and posing to smile. The friend can be heard giving instructions how to load the gun.

The man filming then warns him, “Do not shoot, brother”

He once again asks him to stop. However, Pawan had already fired the gun to the left side of his chest and collapsed to the ground.

The person recording is heard shouting, “What have you done?’ in Hindi.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

The pistol seen in the video was licensed and belonged to the man who was filming the video.

The man had also instructed Pawan on how to load the firearm and cautioned him not to fire it, according to police.

The investigation has revealed that Pawan was filming a reel with his friend while performing a stunt with the gun.

Pawan also reportedly believed that the pistol was locked. However, it failed to lock, and the shot was fired.
