Bajaj Auto Prepares Pulsar Overhaul With Eight New Models

Over the next four to five months, Bajaj Auto plans to completely revamp its flagship Pulsar brand as part of a major motorcycle portfolio makeover. In an effort to improve its standing in the fiercely competitive 125cc+ motorcycle market, especially in the 150cc+ class, the company has planned more than eight product interventions.

With the biggest portion of Bajaj Auto’s motorcycle sales, Pulsar remains the company’s most significant brand. The company has gained market share in higher-displacement areas because to product changes that have been in place since November, according to Executive Director Rakesh Sharma.

The modern N-series, the performance-focused NS-series, and the original Pulsar models will all be included in the redesign. In order to create a more unified and appealing product selection, Sharma stated that the business anticipates finishing the redesign cycle by the end of the current term.

In addition to Pulsar, Bajaj Auto is looking at ways to fill holes in the 125cc market and is thinking about branching out into other motorcycle categories, possibly by reviving dormant brands. Regarding the industry prognosis, Sharma stated that demand for two-wheelers is still high and that the sector is predicted to grow by 12 to 15%, while consumer spending may be at risk due to inflations.
